Slim Ranger
Hoyt Buck's first knife, made from a worn out file blade in 1902 was a fixed blade. The U.S. Government requested blade donations for the military after the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was then, that in the basement of a church in 1942, Hoyt Buck began making knives by hand.
The 112 Slim Pro is a thin EDC based on an American classic, the 112 Ranger. It possesses the same traditional features but with a more modern look and upgraded materials. A removable, reversible deep pocket carry stainless steel pocket clip is added based on the overwhelming customer demand. With easy one-handed opening, the upgraded S30V stainless steel blade has supreme edge retention, hardness, ductility, and corrosion resistance. It is finished with Buck's Advanced Edge2x Blade Technology. To decrease the weight and thickness, the heavy bolster and handles are replaced with durable Micarta® or G10 while still maintaining the same quality and rigidity of the original 112.
Handle options are available in a black G10, O.D. Green Micarta®, or Brown Micarta®
